Host was established as an independent, national, environmentally-friendly contract catering company, partly owned by its management, in 2004. The company has contracts across the UK in business & industry, directors and partners’ dining rooms, conference facilities, independent schools, further and higher education and the healthcare sector.

I took over the running of the company from its founder, Jerry Brand, in May 2011.

Host is a community of motivated and professional food people who want to make a difference to each of the restaurants we run through their commitment, enthusiasm and forward-thinking ideas. Each restaurant is run by a specialist team who take the time to understand exactly what the customer wants and who have the skills to deliver that promise - day in, day out.
